Marketing Campaigns & Proposals

Marketing Proposal Campaigns

I have coordinated within teams of senior architects, consultants, and graphic designers to design, write, and deliver over 80 marketing proposals to date.

These proposal marketing campaigns are in pursuit of new architectural design projects for sectors ranging from higher education, science and technology, healthcare, corporate interiors, and corporate and commercial.

Marketing Process & Management Documents

Creating an Awards Process Protocol

Once an architectural project is complete, principals like to submit them to a range of national and international industry award programs to recognize their excellence in design. As such, there can be an overwhelming amount of projects proposed for concurrent award programs. This, and the onboarding of new marketing staff, brought about the need for a formalized awards process.

This is an excerpt of the document that outlines how the marketing department leads the process, the file structure, organization, and when and how to involve senior stakeholders in the process.

While creating this document, senior principals were referenced, reviewed, and agreed to the process within it. This new process has clarified the expectations around which stakeholder is responsible for what and when it is needed.

Headshot Protocol

Prior to the COVID pandemic, we employed a professional photographer to come in semi-frequently to capture the headshots of new employees. Immediately after the pandemic and thanks to the high quality of smartphone cameras, we adopted a headshot guideline using smartphones.

Because the user group taking the headshots is now varied - anyone from HR, operations, reception, marketing, etc. - there had to be an easy to understand and follow guide developed for use. This ensured that the quality, angle, and lighting of the images was consistent with brand standards and created a cohesive but dynamic variety.

Utilizing Planning Tools for Project Organization

Managing and coordinating all projects from marketing proposal campaigns, to resume and project sheet updates, photoshoots, and social media and PR require a central tracking and planning system.

Using monday.com, I document statuses and next steps of marketing campaigns and planning for aligning PR with campaigns. Using this tool keeps the marketing and senior stakeholder team on track while giving visibility to the sheer number of projects the marketing team executes each year.
